They are screenshots rather than retyped text on purpose. Anyone can type a flattering paragraph into a web page and sign it with a first name and a last initial. A screenshot of the profile shows you the reviewer, the date, and the review as it was written, and you can open the profile and check it against what we have published here.
Why there is no star rating on this page
You will not find an average score, a star graphic, or a rating badge anywhere on this site, and there is no rating markup in the page code either.
A rating a business awards itself is not evidence, and search engines are explicit that rating markup should not be self-serving. Our profile carries a public rating that Google calculates and that we cannot edit. That is the number worth trusting, and it lives on the profile — not on a page we control.
What is useful to mention
Reviews help most when they are specific. If you are writing one and are not sure what to say, the details other homeowners tend to find useful are:
- What the actual problem turned out to be once the wall was open, and whether that matched what we told you to expect.
- Whether the final invoice matched the estimate, and if it did not, whether you were told before the extra work happened.
- How the site was left at the end of each day.
- How long the job took against the window we gave you.
- How we handled anything that went wrong — that is usually more informative than a job where nothing did.
If your experience was not good
Call the office before you write anything. Not to talk you out of the review — to fix the problem, which is the only outcome that actually helps you.
Exterior work uncovers surprises, and how a contractor handles the surprise is the part that matters. If we got something wrong on your house, we would rather hear it on the phone and come back out. A review that says we returned and put it right is worth more to the next homeowner than one we quietly avoided.
